This exhibition started as an international exhibition
called Independent Drawing Gig (I.D. Gig), especially
combining sound and art. This exhibition is 4th edition,
and participants of previous I.D. Gig are curating and
organizing the show in their own country in this year.
In Korea show was organized in plastic factory
in Jakjeon-dong, Incheon.
Artists, designers and musicians are participating
under the title of ‘Holiday Factory Jakjeon I.D. Gig 4 Incheon’.
Especially a basic principle for this project becomes as
‘not to have an intentional stratagem to manipulate
the social-mental distance between the factory (as a specific site)
and participants’, and then develop their own work depending on
how each artists interprets and understands in open way
about site, drawing, gig, and the gap between them.
